To all who supported myself and my team during the campaign and all who voted for me.

While the outcome is not what we had hoped for there were a number of encouraging aspects. The perecntage of first preferences was higher than in the 2007 General Election and the Green performance in Dublin South Central was the best performance in the Dublin City Council area.
